Family Promise of Laurens County is an affiliate of a national organization dedicated to keeping newly homeless families together during temporary periods of homelessness. We are seeking a full-time Executive Director to supervise staff and coordinate the work and contributions of a network of churches and volunteers. The candidate should have strong leadership and supervisory skills, be flexible and able to work in an evolving environment. The Executive Director must be comfortable collaborating with a range of agencies and organizations (local, regional, statewide and national), have excellent organizational writing and communication skills, and be familiar with the network of social programs available to assist families with integration toward independence. A bachelor’s degree and three years’ experience in a social service environment is preferred. Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relationships, as well as experience in volunteer management, are required.
